SHUFFLEBOARD
Margaret Rennaker started
researching why the shuffleboard courts were not being used. The activities
director said there was no interest in playing shuffleboard. The primary reason
was preparing the courts for play. The District 1 leaders said that she needed 6
to 8 core members then he would fill in the gap and arrange for us to enter a
league. District one President at that time helped us get the courts ready to
play as best he could with the condition of the courts. In November of 1999
league play began.
